Available from up to 50,000 kg/hr. with steam pressure options of up to 66 kg/cm², it powers the most demanding industrial processes with locally available, cost-effective biomass fuel.

At the heart of the system is ISOTEX’s proprietary multi-stage reciprocating grate combustion technology — a fully automated, high-efficiency combustion platform compatible with 100+ biomass and agro-waste fuels, including high-moisture and fibrous materials such as rice husk, EFB, palm shells, coconut shells, bagasse, wood chips, sawdust, and briquettes. The four-zone combustion process — Drying, Gasification, Combustion, and Ash Discharge — delivers combustion efficiency exceeding 95%, with a high turn-down ratio greater than 1:3 for reliable part-load performance. Multi-Stage Reciprocating Grate Combustion Technology

ISOTEX’s proprietary four-zone reciprocating grate progressively moves biomass fuel through distinct combustion zones — each with independent hydraulic control, separate combustion air supply, and individually modulated dampers — ensuring complete burnout of even high-moisture or fibrous fuels:

  • Zone 1 — Drying: fuel loses moisture and begins gasification
  • Zone 2 — Gasification: fuel continues pyrolysis and volatile gas release
  • Zone 3 — Combustion: fuel burns at maximum temperature with optimised primary and secondary air supply
  • Zone 4 — Final Burnout & Ash Discharge: residual carbon burns; ash exits automatically via drag chain conveyor
